Launch a vault
$VOUCH · Commons
proposed

The token that matches the others.

$VOUCH is launched on Bags with its creator fees split by fee-share. Half of every fee goes to the Commons vault, which matches deliveries for tokens that launch under Vouch. It is a funding mechanism for the network, described here without a price, a chart, or a promise.

The Commons vault appears in this list once $VOUCH is live. Until then, nothing on this page is a claim about money.

01
Utility

Three things it does.

  1. 01

    Fee match

Creator fees from $VOUCH flow to the Commons vault. Vaults that launched under the three rules receive a match on their deliveries from the Commons, paid on the same rail, with its own receipt.

  2. 02

    Launch eligibility

Launching a token through Vouch requires a vault, a verified cause, and a locked route with at least half of creator fees. $VOUCH holders can sponsor a launch's verification queue position.

  3. 03

    Commons governance

Which causes the Commons vault rotates through, and in what proportion, is decided by $VOUCH holders on a monthly cadence. Votes and outcomes are published alongside the Commons receipts.

02
Distribution

Where the supply goes.

Proposed allocation. Locks are on-chain and will be linked from this table when the token is live; until then this is a plan, labeled as one.

03
Fee-share

Launched on Bags with fee-share.

Bags lets a token name up to 100 fee claimers with shares in basis points. $VOUCH names three. The Commons vault’s claimer is its route address, so its share is attributed on-chain like any other token’s fees and shows up in the Commons ledger as fee events.

Shares are enforced by the Bags fee-share configuration, not by Vouch. The configuration transaction will be linked from the Commons vault page. See fee routing.

04
Protocol treasury

What the protocol has received.

The treasury is one address. Every inflow to it is a row in the ledger with a signature, an asset, and a USD value at the time it landed. This block reads from that ledger and from the chain; it is not edited by hand.
